Kamyla Benitez Ramos holds a Master’s degree in Counselling with a minor in Addictive Disorders, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico. She is a valued member of Trust Therapeutics, LLC, committed to supporting a diverse client base including young adults, professionals, the Latino/a community, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and clients from all backgrounds. Kamyla’s approach to therapy is both structured and warm, providing a stable and effective space for healing and personal growth.
Kamyla has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, specialising in emotion management, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, relationships, family matters, and addictive disorders. She has also supported homeless populations and immigrants, recognising the unique challenges they face. Her therapeutic style integrates mindfulness strategies, person-centred and systems models, all tailored to help clients achieve realistic goals. Deeply valuing multicultural perspectives, Kamyla fosters a safe, empathetic, and ethically grounded environment where clients can feel understood and supported. Outside of work, she enjoys connecting with nature and the sea while listening to music.
