Lisa Allen is a dedicated Social Worker with over 15 years of experience specialising in mental health and substance use disorders. She holds both a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Bachelor of Science from Springfield College, graduating with national honours. Lisa’s extensive career has centred on working closely with families and at-risk children who present with challenging behavioural needs across home, residential, and school environments.
Adopting an integrated and evidence-based approach, Lisa focuses on a variety of complex issues including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, physical and sexual abuse, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), grief support for children and adolescents, as well as eating disorders among teens and young adults. She is passionate about delivering solution-focused therapy tailored to the individual, empowering clients and families to overcome difficulties and achieve a fulfilling, balanced life. Lisa warmly welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds, including young adults, professionals, the Latino/a community, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people with disabilities, ensuring a supportive and inclusive space for all.
