Dayana M. Hernández Concepción is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Mental Health Counsellor dedicated to supporting clients across all stages of life. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ana G. Méndez University and a Master of Science in Counselling Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in Puerto Rico. Dayana specialises in working with children, adolescents, adults, elderly individuals living with chronic pain, and their caregivers, offering both individual and group therapy.
Her clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, codependency, chronic pain, and grief, with particular experience supporting Spanish-speaking families and elderly clients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, as well as caregivers experiencing burnout. Dayana’s therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Therapy, Reality Therapy, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Outside of work, she enjoys practising yoga, reading, and watching films. Dayana warmly welcomes clients from all cultural backgrounds and looks forward to supporting your journey towards wellbeing.
